Two Sea Turtle Nests Discovered in One Morning by Dedicated Patroller

After a long night of patrolling, Johnny Manglugay and his paw patrol companion, Bantay, made an extraordinary discovery on November 15 in the morning. At 4:30 AM, Bantay’s keen senses led them to a nest containing 108 eggs, which were safely transferred to the hatchery. Shortly after, they encountered another nesting turtle in Taboc, San Juan, who laid a remarkable 126 eggs, the largest clutch of the season. After ensuring the mother finished nesting, the team tagged her and released her back into the ocean. This marked the 20th nest of the season, highlighting Johnny and his paw patrol’s ongoing commitment to the protection and preservation of sea turtles and their nests.
