Pawikan Beach Run 2024: A Unifying Race for Sea Turtles and Environmental Advocacy

The Pawikan Beach Run 2024, held during the 3rd North Luzon Travel Expo in San Juan, La Union, brought together over 1,200 participants for a powerful event promoting sea turtle conservation. Runners of all ages and backgrounds took part in the 1K Fun Run and 5K Race along the beautiful San Juan coastline, highlighting the importance of community-driven environmental efforts. The event emphasized the collective impact of small actions in preserving coastal ecosystems and fostering hope for a sustainable future. A special thanks was given to the Department of Tourism – Philippines and all partners who helped make this event a significant milestone in sustainable tourism and environmental advocacy.
