CURMA Recognized as Most Outstanding Volunteer Organization in the Region

CURMA (Coastal Underwater Resource Management Actions) has been honored as the Most Outstanding Volunteer Organization (Non-Profit) in the region by the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) and the Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA). This prestigious award acknowledges CURMA’s invaluable contributions to community empowerment and its advocacy for volunteerism as a way of life.

The organization extends its gratitude to the dedicated volunteers who have contributed their time and efforts to sea turtle conservation, marine protection, and coastal ecosystem preservation. CURMA also recognizes the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) for their role in the selection process.

This recognition serves as an inspiration for more individuals to engage in volunteerism and contribute to meaningful environmental and wildlife conservation efforts.
