200 Sea Turtle Hatchlings Released During World Surf League International Pro

Over 200 sea turtle hatchlings were released during the World Surf League La Union International Pro LQS, marking an unforgettable afternoon filled with a stunning sunset, world-class surfing, and the sight of hatchlings beginning their journey to the ocean.

Local pro surfer Roger Casugay opened the release box, guiding the hatchlings to the sea as locals, surfers, and tourists celebrated this heartwarming moment together.

A special thanks to the United Philippine Surfing Association, Luke Landrigan, and Gabs Batallones for coordinating. This event reminded us all of the importance of protecting the ocean and its incredible creatures for future generations.
